Florida - The Cannabis Business (FlaTCB)
Weekly Summary:
For the week July 10 - 16, 2026, Florida saw a welcome 11th straight week of net new Active Patients gains (totaling 12,681 patients, 1,153 per week average); bringing total FL Active Patients to 937,501. YTD 2026 net Active Patients have increased just 7,836, up 0.8% and up 17,393 patients (+1.9%) y/y. Active Patient growth had been a driver of 2025 overall market growth (up 34,997 patients, +3.9%), but that lever is no longer as strong a tailwind in 2026.
Usage per Active Patient of both Flower and Oil Cannabis products continues to be a bright spot and the primary driver of overall market growth. Flower Usage per Active patient is at an all-time high and THC (Oil) Usage per Active Patient is only slightly off its recent record high. The 13-week rolling average Usage per Active Patient is up 8.8% and 10.3% y/y respectively for Flower Oz. and Oil Mg.
Dispensaries are up 5.9% y/y to 769 (we saw with Trulieve, Curaleaf, and Fluent opening dispensaries and Ayr dropping a dispensary this week (a net 2 increase over last week)) and the Flower Oz. and THC (Oil) Mg. per Dispensary are up 4.2% and 5.6% y/y, respectively.
Overall Flower Oz. 13-week rolling average Flower Oz. and THC (Oil) y/y growth saw upticks this week, up 10.4% and 11.9% y/y, respectively.
